How ARM is dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Here at ARM Dallas we have been monitoring the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely and it is our goal to keep our clients, employees and community safe. We are currently open and still taking clients. We also want to be transparent about the proactive steps we are taking during this time:
Taking the temperature of all new clients at intake, if they have a fever or showing cold or flu symptoms, they will not be accepted into the program
Taking the temperature of our clients and staff daily
Clients and staff washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Avoiding close contact with anyone
Disinfecting the houses twice daily
Disinfecting after meetings
Disinfecting classrooms after sessions
We have posted signs around the facility of how we disinfect the building and signs from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of how to stop the spread of germs
We have posted signs on the front and back door if they are showing any signs of cold or flu like symptoms like fever or cough, we will ask that they do not enter the building
ARM and WARM staff are the only ones teaching until further notice
Created sick rooms in the Jackson house and in the Bynam house to quarantine if someone gets sick or has symptoms
Hand sanitizers are located at the front desk, in the conference room, and in the kitchen
Clorox wipes are in all staff offices
No visitation until further notice
Limiting volunteers and alumni from coming into the facility
Our hearts and prayers go out to all who have been affected, and the health and safety of our healthcare providers and first responders.
We’re here 24/7
